“Come on babe, why don’t we paint the town…and all that jazz…”  Bayside, the critically acclaimed restaurant in Newport Beach, is hoping that music lovers will embrace the lyrics to the famous song as it launches “All That Jazz” each Friday night from 10:30 p.m.– 12:30 a.m., announced owner Marc Ghoukassian. 

In addition to live music performed in a lounge setting, Executive Chef Paul Gstrein has crafted a late night supper menu featuring items like an Angus beef burger and lobster salad bruschetta along with light nibbles including a Mediterranean olive medley and garlic Parmesan French fries.  Prices will range from $5.95 to $12.50.  A wide range of premium domestic and imported beers, wines by the glass and hand crafted cocktails will be available. 

“There is a dearth of live entertainment venues offering great jazz and delicious late night dining and cocktails,” said Ghoukassian.  “All That Jazz Fridays is intended to fill that void.  We hope music and food lovers will come to view Bayside as their post-workweek, late-night destination.”

Bayside is a contemporary dining establishment with an extensive menu emphasizing fresh seafood. The 246-seat restaurant overlooks the tranquil waters of Newport Harbor and features design elements that showcase an ever-evolving fine art exhibition.  Among its many unique features include an open-air dining room, wrap-around patio with built-in heaters and sun drapes, comfortable wicker chairs, Japanese screens and large windows. Live entertainment is offered nightly in the bar and lounge.
