The “Shellfish Fanfare Sampling and White Wine” tasting event on Tuesday, April 13, combine Bluewater Grill favorites Ponzu Sashimi Sea Scallops, Washington’s Hammersley Inlet and Hama Hama Oysters, and Cherrystone Clams from Rhode Island with Dry Riesling from Pacific Rim Winery in Washington and Pinot Gris from Acrobat Winery in Oregon. Each wine has been hand-selected by Bluewater Grill seafood and wine experts to pair perfectly with a particular just-shucked shellfish.
The cost of each pairing event is $28.95 per person, and includes one dozen shellfish on the half shell plus three white wines, three beers or two cocktails. Advance reservations are encouraged for sittings beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Bluewater Grill chefs and servers at each restaurant will be available to discuss the differences between the shellfish varieties, specific wine pairings, recipes and techniques.
