Rance’s Chicago Pizza in Long Beach is expanding their menu Earth Day Weekend (April 22 & 23) with the debut of wings and new specialty pizzas to its varied menu. With a post or check-in on social media, guests will receive a FREE order of wings with the purchase of any small, medium or large pizza from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The wings will be available in 3 hand crafted flavors: Bourbon Maple Bacon, Spicy Thai Peanut and Buffalo. 10 wings per order are accompanied by house-made ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Also making their debut are three new pizza’s: Buffalo Chicken, (incorporating the new sauce) Chorizo & BBQ Chicken and Pulled Pork.
“We’re excited to launch new items to our menu by offering free wings for people to try.” said Co-Founder and Executive Chef Rance Ruiz, who with his childhood friend, Aaron Tofani, launched their second location in Belmont Shore late 2016. “Since their introduction in 1964, wings have become a staple in American dining. On Super Bowl Sunday alone, Americans consume approximately 1.25 billion wings and the average American eats 90 wings each year. As we continue to grow, we plan on introducing more flavors to appeal to a whole range of diners.”
Added Tofani, co-founder and CEO, “We haven’t added a specialty pizza to our menu in over 4 years, so we’re also thrilled to announce the three new varieties. Our free wings weekend is the ideal opportunity for guests to explore all of the new additions.”
A critic’s darling and winner of the “Best Pizza” honors at the 2016 Golden Foodie Awards, Rance’s Chicago Pizza distinguishes itself from the competition by using locally sourced ingredients for everything, including their dressings and sauces, made from scratch daily. Rance’s offers 3 versions of its pies: stuffed, pan and a thinner-crust “tavern” style. In addition, the menu features several appetizers including meatballs and marinara, garlic cheese sticks, artichoke dip and bruschetta topped with fresh, diced tomatoes, garlic pesto, feta cheese and sliced red onions. Pizza by the slice is also available in Long Beach every day during lunch from 11am to 4pm. Among the salads are a Caesar, spinach, Caprese, antipasto and house. Rance’s offers 30 specialty beers on tap and a variety of wines by the glass or bottle.
