- What restaurants/eateries get you excited?
- In the past 4 years, I have found myself going out to Europe 4 times. To be more specific, I keep on finding myself in Catalonia, embracing the culinary world in Barcelona. Places that get me excited? Well, to list a few, there is Quimet i Quimet which specializes in traditional Tapas taken to the next level, El Xampanyer which offers an array of some of the best canned seafood in Spain, La Xampanyeria de Can Paixano which is notorious for their Cava and wide array of meats, Les Quince Nitz with their traditional take on Catalan food, and Ferran Adria's 41 Grados which takes the concept of a Snack Bar to a whole new level.
As far as in California, a few of my favorite spots are L'Opera in Long Beach which specializes in Italian Food, McKenna's on the Bay which offers some of the freshest seafood in Long Beach along with some stunning views of Alamitos Bay, and Pizzeria Mozza in Los Angeles which in my opinion has the best pizza in the Southern California area.
