Great Prices on Wine by the Bottle

In doing some work with Zov's, they just mentioned how much they have lowered their wine prices by the bottle. When I get an inside scoop like that, just want to let everyone know. The Mer Soliel Chardonnay was $70 and now it's $42, The Cakebread Cab for a bottle is $89 - it's hard to find that anywhere under $100. The Estancia Meritage was $59 and now it's only $40 and Stags Leap is only $38.

I know times are tough for everyone but with everyone pitching in to help - It's a great… Continue

Healthy Coffee & Summer Recipes

Hi OC Foodies! I have to share with you news about a new coffee, developed by an OC entrepreneur called Tieman’s Fusion Coffees. It’s a healthy coffee – the beans are fused with antioxidants – and it tastes great (no funny aftertaste … and bonus, no coffee-breath!) Full disclosure, yes, my PR agency is working with them right now. But truthfully, this is really good coffee! Personally, what I like best about the coffee is the sustained… Continue

Steercrazy BBQ: Seriously Good

Without question, the preparation of barbecue is the prime mover behind some of the most fiercely passionate debates to have in the culinary world. Many a knock-down, drag-out argument has been started over a person declaring their loyalty for, say, pork over beef or Carolina instead of Texas. Heck, we cannot agree on how to spell the word. Is it barbecue, bar-b-q, or BBQ? Even the Spellcheck on my MS Word offers no respite from the latter… Continue
