Vanilla Coke Jello Shots

4 packets of Knox unflavored gelatin (cherry jello if you want to make Cherry Vanilla Coke Jello shots)

3 cups Coke, Diet Coke or Vanilla Coke

1 cup Vanilla Vodka

Bring half of the Coke to a boil. Dissolve gelatin completely in hot liquid. Add remaining coke and Vodka. Pour into individual disposable cups. Chill immediately until set. Enjoy!

I have my grandmothers recipe for Ham Gravy using Coke…

My Grandmother was Italian so the recipe does not have “exact measurements”. Her measurements go like this “a little bit of this and a little bit of that” so here is goes….

Place your ham in a large roaster

Decorate it with Fresh Pineapple slices stuck to its sides with toothpicks

Went to Cafe Zoolu in Laguna Beach last week. I was hungry and needed an emotional lift (financial markets got me down a bit). The best place to sit is at the bar so I sat my butt down. They serve no cocktails (beer and wine only), just great food, conversation and more. I happened to sit next to a 13-year boy, cool kid, smart, well behaved and insightful.
