Bad to the Bone BBQ has been named “Business of the Year” by the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce. Members of the San Juan Capistrano business community gathered for the Chamber of Commerce's annual Installation Dinner as the organization honored local community members and businesses. A popular restaurant in Orange County, Bad to the Bone BBQ was awarded “Business of the Year” for its commitment to serving authentic, real pit barbecue with exemplary service, as well as for its continued support of local charities and community initiatives.
The restaurant and recently opened events space has become an Orange County institution for Oklahoma-style barbecue and is the first restaurant in the area to offer “real pit BBQ” – meats that are slow-cooked in all wood-burning pits over hickory wood for up to 24 hours. Ribs are front and center at Bad to the Bone BBQ, with racks and half racks of beef back ribs, St. Louis pork ribs and baby back pork ribs on the menu. Other favorites include traditional sides such as ranch beans, sweet potato fries and mac ‘n cheese, as well as desserts such as fresh fruit cobbler and chocolate pecan pie.
Bad to the Bone BBQ is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The full menu and more information are available online at www.badtothebone-bbq.com.
