Camarena Tequila Takes Over Angels Stadium

What do 5 minutes, a shaker, a fresh lime and tequila have in common…not much. BUT when combined, muddled and poured they work together to produce a wonderful cocktail.

Joel Black, the bartender known for his work at Comme Ca and Caña Rum Bar, recently partnered up with Camarena Tequila on a takeover of Angel Stadium. After a fresh hand made taco dinner and tour of the stadium, guests became mixologists in a step by step “class” where they shook, stirred and muddled up some fun and delicious cocktails!

Camarena’s heritage in Tequila began more than 250 years ago. Six generations later they still produce two delicious products:

Camarena Reposado Tequila:
Reposado means "to rest." Familia Camarena 100% Blue Agave Reposado Tequila rests in American oak barrels for 60 days before bottling. The aging process lends a touch of soft spice to the natural sweetness of the agave in the Reposado Tequila. The result is a smooth, refined barrel aged Tequila with an elegant, robust finish.

Camarena Silver Tequila:
Clear with a pure, platinum sheen, Familia Camarena 100% Blue Agave Silver Tequila shows notes of rich toasted agave and fresh green herbs. Exceptionally soft and smooth on the palate, our Silver Tequila exhibits hints of sweet vanilla, savory brown spices and black pepper with a graceful, warming finish.
