Chef Cathy Pavlos Hosts The Ultimate Sunday Supper At Provenance

Chef Cathy Pavlos’ legendary Sunday Supper is making its comeback on Sunday, March 25th as she presents "A Sunday Supper That My Grandmother Would Have Done." Modeled after her own family dinners every Sunday since the 1950s, this Sunday Supper is being held on Grandma and Grandpa Bottari’s Wedding Anniversary and will feature a four-course menu served family-style featuring Maria Bottari’s famous Sunday Sauce. Seating is limited and dinner is $65 per person (plus taxes & gratuity). Guests must make reservations in advance by calling 949-718-0477.

(simmered a good 2 to 3 hours) Penne Pasta with Red Gravy (the savory tomato sauce left over when all of the meat has been removed--see below) and a generous amount of Parmesan Cheese

All of the meat from the Sunday sauce
(meatballs, pork chops, sausage, beef braciole), Spicy Chicken Wings, Broccoli alla Romana, a Nice Green Salad with olive oil and vinegar (to wash your mouth at the end)
