Every summer some of Orange County’s finest restaurants take over the parking lot of Edwards Big Newport Theatre for the annual Hoag Movie Night (
http://www.hoagmoviescreening.org). Three of its long-standing participants – Muldoon’s Irish Pub, Blue Water Grill and Newport Landing/Harborside – will return with their dedicated staff and tasty offerings all in support of the Hoag Cancer Center.
This annual tradition, sponsored by the Hoag Hospital Foundation’s 552 Club, Edwards Theatres and Regal Entertainment will take place Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. The private screening of Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio will begin at 7:30 p.m.
After dinner and jazz, Dileep Rao, one of the cast members of Inception, will talk about his experience working on one of this summer’s most anticipated films and draw the winners of the raffle prizes.
Tickets start at $100 per person, which includes the fabulous food prepared by all participating restaurants, the screening of Inception and a donation to the Hoag Cancer Center. All attendees have the opportunity to enter the grand prize raffle for a four-night stay in an ocean-view suite at the Four Seasons Resort Lana’i at Manele Bay (
http://www.fourseasons.com/manelebay/) valued at $10,000. Raffle tickets are $20 or six for $100.
