Each year, Fleming's “Month of Discovery” Wine Dinner celebrates a single wine producer that they feel has truly achieved iconic status among its peers. This year, they’re making it two! Join Fleming's as they pour five superb wines from the "twin sister" wineries of Silver Oak & Twomey Cellars. These wines are exceptionally food-friendly and pair wonderfully with the richly-flavored ingredients of our 5-course dinner menu.

The highlight of the evening will be a remarkable side-by-side vertical tasting of the 2006 and 2007 vintages of the Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Fleming’s is the first restaurant in the world to offer the 2007 (we opened our first bottles on Saturday, August 6th, the same day it was released at the winery). Silver Oak winemaker Daniel Baron describes it as “a profound, fruit-driven wine from a great California vintage. It has a dark ruby color with a purple edge and an inviting nose of ripe black plum, blackberry, baking spices and soy sauce. On the palate, the wine is rich and full, reminiscent of the flavors of a berry cobbler.” This wine definitely has a hard act to follow. The 2006 earned a 92-point score from Wine Enthusiast magazine and is always in high demand at Fleming’s. Which of these two great vintages will win your vote? Don’t miss your chance to find out!
