Lively Burger Concept Encourages Diners To Donate A Present And Receive A Complimentary Birthday Shake
Holsteins Shakes and Buns, located at Bloomingdale’s in South Coast Plaza, is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a week-long toy drive for Giving Children Hope. Guests who dine at the restaurant and bring an unwrapped toy to donate between Tuesday, August 30 through Monday, September 5 will receive a complimentary virgin “Birthday Cake Shake,” made with birthday cake crumble and topped with rainbow sprinkles.
“We’re very pleased with the reception we’ve received in Orange County and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our first birthday than by giving back to the community,” said Holsteins’ General Manager Brad Prescott. ”Giving Children Hope does amazing work to provide medical resources and basic essentials for children in need and we are excited to team up for this worthy cause.”
The contemporary Las Vegas burger concept, which opened in Costa Mesa last September to rave reviews, is known for its creative menu of specialty burgers, small bites, salads, & the alcohol-infused “Bam-Boozled” shakes. Signature menu items include The Gold Standard burger featuring a dry-aged beef patty stacked high with tomato confit, smoked bacon, aged goat cheddar cheese with arugula; and the secret-menu Billionaire Burger made with a thick Kobe beef patty and topped with foie gras, port onion marmalade, frisee and truffle mayo.
The Orange County restaurant is housed in a 11,000-square-foot space featuring 13-foot ceilings and walls accented by bright and instinctually nostalgic pop art. Guests are welcomed to dine in rustic, leather-tufted booths with matching banquettes and red leather accent chairs. Holsteins boasts extensive beer and wine lists, after work and late-night Happy Hour and live music in the bar/lounge Friday and Saturday nights from 9-11 pm.
