John's Incredible Pizza's First Ever Pizza-Eating Contest

Competitive eater Matt Stonie will compete at the first-ever John’s Incredible Pizza World Pizza-Eating Championship on Sunday, April 22 at 1p.m. at the Westminster Mall in Westminster, California. This event will be held over 10 minutes of contest time and Stonie will seek to set a new world record in the pizza discipline.

Stonie will face fierce competition from Miki Sudo, the world’s number-one female competitive eater. Sudo is the four time Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog-Eating Women’s champion. Other top competitive eaters competing include: the #4-ranked Geoffrey Esper from Oxford, MA; the #6-ranked Gideon Oji from Morrow, GA’ the #9-ranked Michelle Lecso from Tuscon, AZ; and the #12-ranked Juan Rodriguez from Crestwood, IL.

Major League Eating (MLE), the world governing body of all stomach-centric sports, conducts more than 80 events annually, including the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest in Coney Island, N.Y.
