With its new chef and menu, Flight Bistro & Social Lounge is ready to take guests on an inspired journey to the most flavorful places in the world.

Executive Chef Derrick Hamilton’s global cuisine promises to enchant Flight’s diverse clientele, ranging from leisure diners to business professionals to chic cocktailistas and music lovers. In its first two years of operation, Flight impressed food critics and the fashionable nightlife crowd with its relaxed, sophisticated environment, tasteful fusion menu, imaginative mixed drinks and noteworthy wine list.


Elevating the experience to new heights, Flight is now introducing Chef Hamilton’s global tapas menu, featuring selections such as:
•Sliders Flight: BBQ bacon burger, spicy burger and wild mushroom burger
•Surf and Turf: Chimichurri-marinated shrimp and pomegranate soy beef
•Pad Thai Chicken Lollipops: Warm Vermicelli noodles, peanut sauce, carrot sugar snap peas and bean sprouts
• Salmon and Potato Rosti: Roma tomatoes and creamy horseradish dill sauce

“These dishes are so much more than the sum of their ingredients,” said owner Stephen Chu. “Our new chef really knows how to draw out flavors. His use of spices and fruit essences is truly masterful.”
The small plates are priced from $4 to $12, creating unlimited options to suit each guest’s tastes and budget.

Also New at Flight is free WiFi and plenty of places for businesspeople to relax and loosen the necktie when the work day is done. Professionals can sip a cocktail in the business lounge or mix a little business and pleasure in the presentation room, available for meetings and private parties.
Also note worthy is Flight’s tapas menu an affordable alternative to the traditional entrée. In addition, Flight presents a regular rotation of weekly discounts:

• “Frugal Hours:” All tapas are half price from 5-8 p.m. daily
• 3-2-1 drink specials: $3 off well drinks, $2 off glasses of wine and $1 off beers during dinner hours, 5-10 p.m. nightly
• Tuesdays: Half off bottles of wine and 25% off cheese and meat plates
• Thursdays: Half off specialty cocktails
• Sundays: $3 Coronas and $2 Mimosas all day

Generous pours – Martinis and cocktails are now sized at a generous 10 ounces.
Finer wine – Flight has added Ferrari Carano and Justin Vineyards to its impressive wine list. Enjoy them by the glass, bottle, as a flight or combined in a cheese, meat and wine flight.

To introduce customers to the new menus, Flight will offer half off everything during Frugal Week, August 11-15, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. daily.
