OCfoodies wants to give some lucky Mom $500 in restaurant gift cards

OCfoodies is sponsoring a Mother’s Day contest for its free online community, OC Foodies (www.OCfoodies.com), which will allow the public to vie for $500 in gift cards to ten of the region’s top restaurants. The contest, dubbed the Mother’s Day Kitchen Getaway, requires that you are a member of the OC Foodies online community and to articulate why theirs is the “Mom of choice,” in 50 words or less. There is no cost to enter. Entries must be emailed to info@ocfoodies.com by May 7th.

“The Mother’s Day Kitchen Getaway contest was created to give moms an opportunity to step away from the stove,” commented Pamela Waitt, president of the Orange County Restaurant Association, which produces Orange County Restaurant Week, the county’s largest culinary event. “We are looking for the most heartfelt, crafty or clever entry to win $500 in gift cards to ten Orange County Restaurants.” What Mom wouldn’t love to receive 10 days of dining through-out Orange County….Show your Mom some love or just a Mom that you love and enter to win..The Winner will be announced on Mother’s Day.
