The team behind Los Angeles’ successful 12-year-running LAWineFest heads south for the first Orange County event on the historic grounds of A Stone’s Throw Winery property in San Juan Capistrano, with charitable partner the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Tickets are now available for the upcoming OCWineFest (www.ocwinefest.com), and the kickoff dinner Friday, November 3 – a cocktail/black tie optional gourmet dinner event held at the Sundried Tomato, with funds benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The dinner will feature wine pairings from Orange County's A Stone's Throw Winery, Giracci Vineyards and Farms, Cowboy Canyon Winery and Jumping Vines.
The OCWineFest will follow the dinner, with wine expert Dr. Joel M. Fisher, and his team of the seasoned veterans of LAWineFest at the helm. The inaugural Orange County event will take place November 4 and 5, and will feature many Orange County-based winemakers, as well as wines from Greece, Croatia, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Solvang. Full list below. There will be wine tasting, food pairings, music, wine education led by sommeliers, winemakers and experts. Tempt the palate during wine and beer tastings with cuisine from popular food trucks, including Bear Flag Fish Co., Cousins Maine Lobster, Maix Cocina, and Vivace Pizza. Of course, there will be free coffee for everyone, poured exclusively by Costa Mesa’s Thunderking Brewing. Below is a list of wineries confirmed thus far, as well as background about the event and its organizers, and LLS.
Tickets for the festival are available at www.ocwinefest.com and are $70 for general admission and $100 for All Access, which provides early entry Saturday or a limited edition gift Sunday, as well as pours from very special boutique wineries, which have limited production and amazing wines. There is also a special price for designated drivers at just $20. Tickets for the fundraising dinner Friday are $150 each and table sponsorship is available.

Coming off the heels of LAWineFest's 12th successful year, the team is proud to present the OCWineFest, following in the footsteps of Los Angeles' popular event, which blazed a trail to bring wine and people together in an inviting and accessible way. Now a local institution, we’re known to reliably deliver an event that balances fun, exploration and education. This year's inaugural OCWineFest will take place November 4-5 at A Stone's Throw Winery in historic San Juan Capistrano.

ABOUT A STONE’S THROW WINERY
A Stone's Throw Winery was originally founded in 2002 out of Trabuco Canyon and operated as a small boutique winery called Hamilton Oaks Vineyard and Winery Inc. In 2012 the winery opened a second tasting room as Hamilton Oaks San Juan in the historic Swanner House in San Juan Capistrano, on the 3-acre property among the orange groves. In 2016 a group of former Marines and retired Marines formed a new partnership with Giracci Vineyards and Farms to establish A Stone's Throw Winery. The winery is thrilled to have the expertise of the Giracci Team and the support of some-hard charging Marines.
