The menu at Pizzeria Mozza highlights the pizza, pasta, antipasti and salumi that diners in Los Angeles and Singapore have come to love. Executive Chef Matt Molina brings along his signature dishes, many of which are featured in the forthcoming Mozza cookbook: Fried Squash Blossoms with Ricotta, Fennel Sausage, Panna, Red Onion & Scallion Pizza, and Olive Oil Gelato to name a few.
The Newport Beach space features two bars. At the hearthside pizza bar, guests can watch pizza cook in a wood-‐burning oven. The adjacent wine bar provides a lively venue for sampling from a selection of 100 Italian wines as well as pizza and salumi. The space also features an intimate private dining room as well as an outdoor patio for groups and parties of eight to twenty-‐five.
Pizzeria Mozza will be open from noon to 11PM, Tuesday through Sunday. And starting in October, the restaurant will operate seven days a week.
Pizzeria Mozza was carefully designed with sustainability in mind. In the model of the Los Angeles outpost, the new location will house a living wall: a structure that allows plant materials to grow on the exterior walls of the building. Pizzeria Mozza is designed to be LEED-‐Silver; the building design optimizes energy performance using controllable thermal systems, low-‐wattage light fixtures, and by reducing water consumption throughout the kitchen and restrooms.
