If you want to toast your mom in grand fashion in time for Mother’s Day, Quattro Caffé at South Coast Plaza is holding “Discover the Art of Champagne,” a culinary/champagne tasting to be held Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests will sample unique Cuvées (represents the highest quality) from 4 of the top Champagne houses in the world. Each tasting will be expertly paired with a small plate from recipes offered by each of the Champagne house’s personal chefs and expertly prepared by Quattro Caffe’s Miriam Ramirez.

· Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2000

Guests will have a choice of an assisted or blind tasting. Representatives from each Champagne house will offer background information about their respective houses and answer questions in general.
