Sneak Preview of The Country Club Helps Raise $35,000 For Type 1 Diabetes Research and Advocacy

"A Night For Anna," a fundraiser recently hosted by The Country Club had over 150 people attend. The event grossed over $35,000 with 100% of proceeds were donated to the JDRF Foundation for type one diabetes. Guests enjoyed a first look and taste of The Country Club's signature libations and chef's selection of full course hors d ‘Oeuvres. The Country Club is scheduled to open to the public December 5th, 2017.

The fundraiser was held in support of Anna Plotke, a young girl who was diagnosed with type one diabetes at just seven-years-old. Anna receives at least four insulin shots per day, and has received more than 500 in the last six months. "We were overwhelmed when The Country Club generously offered to host an event to help us. We are so grateful to all of the wonderful people there," said Anna's mother Leigh Plotke. She and her husband Chad have been supporting the cause since their daughter’s diagnosis in February.

"The Country Club is exceptional, the food is amazing and the venue is beautiful; there is nothing else like it in Orange County," said Leigh. "Our friends and family were treated to an elegant night out and we're so thrilled about all the money that raised for Type 1 diabetes!"
