FIFTY MOMS FROM ORANGE COUNTY TO BE PAMPERED AT THE DISTRICT IN TUSTIN WITH SPECIAL MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH FEATURING DADDY CAKES® PANCAKES

Daddy Cakes Bakery will pamper Mommies this Mother’s Day at a special brunch to be held on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to noon at The District at Tustin Legacy. The retail destination is hosting a Mother’s Day contest in conjunction with Whole Foods Market and Daddy Cakes Bakery. All Orange County children ages 12 & under are invited to submit a drawing of what Mother’s Day means to them and 50 lucky winners will enjoy a private pancake brunch featuring Daddy Cakes pancakes.

Those interested must submit a drawing of what Mother’s Day means to them on an 8 ½” X 11” piece of paper with child’s name, parent’s name and phone number by Friday, May 1st. Entries may be scanned and emailed to kdaskas@vestar.com; mailed to Kimberly Daskas/Marketing Director at 2437 Park Avenue, Tustin, CA 92782; or dropped of at The District Valet (located next to Bluewater Grill Seafood Restaurant). There is no cost to enter and all winners will be notified by phone.

“The District is the ultimate family destination and in line with the many events we have hosted for families throughout Orange County, this event with Whole Foods Market and Daddy Cakes Bakery is another way for us to contribute to the community,” commented Kimberly Daskas, Director of Marketing for The District at Tustin Legacy. “This event is intended to pamper mothers by treating them to an American tradition known as the ‘pancake breakfast.’”

Daddy Cakes, which produces a line of nine flavors of pancake mixes, has grown exponentially over the past year, recently expanding their distribution in Orange County to Whole Foods Markets.

“Hosting this event for Mother’s Day goes along with our philosophy of Daddy Cakes’ being more than just a business, but a means of bringing families together by delivering a quality product with a healthy dose of fun,” continued Byers. “Our goal is to keep things simple in today's fast-paced world, so that healthy options for breakfast can be more accessible and easier for active families.”
