Taco Rosa has added a new Power Lunch menu to its restaurants in Newport Beach & Irvine. The new $10 specials feature a mix of inventive dishes including Tacos de Chile Relleno and time-honored Mexican classics like Fajitas de Pollo. “After the success of Orange County Restaurant Week, we decided to add $10 Power Lunch specials to our lunch menu. Differentiating our lunch menu from our dinner menu allows us to speed up service and better feed the desires of our customers during lunch,” comments chef/owner Ivan Calderon. "Our Power Lunch menu offers guests with our best selection of ‘home run' dishes in the ideal lunch portion at a value price point.”
The following Power Lunch specials, priced at $10, are offered Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Each dish is served with a variety of accompaniments including a selection of fresh salsas, rice, and beans:
Tacos de Filete - two charbroiled skirt steak tacos sautéed with mushrooms & onions, topped with flamed brie cheese
Tacos de Chile Relleno - two tacos filled with panela-stuffed chilaca peppers topped with roasted corn, zucchini, and spinach
Enchiladas Mexico City - two chicken enchiladas topped with tomatillo sauce, melted Oaxaca cheese, crema, and pico de gallo
Carnitas de Chicharron - tender pork shoulder, pibil sauce, and chicharron served with pico de gallo and GMO-free corn tortillas
Fajitas de Pollo - chicken breast fajitas with sweet peppers, onions, mushrooms, and basil, served with pico de gallo and GMO-free corn tortillas
Rosa Combo – an award-winning “Best of the West” blackened chicken taco served with the Oaxaca cheese enchilada
In March, Chef Calderon will also host a duo of cooking demos focused on his award-winning blackened “Best of the West” tacos and homemade salsas. Guests will enjoy an afternoon of complimentary appetizers and margaritas during the demonstration. Tacos & Salsas demos are priced at $50 per guest and will be held on the following dates:
