This Saturday, October 1st from 10 am to 6 pm, Discover the World... in Irvine at the Irvine Global Village Festival! More than 16,000 guests celebrate Irvine’s cultural diversity annually and experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of the world representing over 50 cultures. Guests enjoy the mosaic of music and dance on five stages; immerse themselves in cultural and religious displays; indulge in international cuisine; and shop in the world marketplace. This family focused event tantalizes tots with hands-on art projects, games, puppet shows, and activities in a giant, interactive Kids Village. The event was promoted as the #1 activity to attend in OC by OC Register in 2009 and was highlighted at the Best Festival for 2009 by OC Weekly. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Irvine Global Village Festival.
                       
Taste the flavors of the world with more than 40 local restaurants serve up samples of regional and international specialties from Chinese Dim Sum, Korean Mexican Fusion tacos and German pretzels to Japanese dumplings, Chinese pastries, Persian kabobs and the all American hot dog.

Admission is FREE!
$1 Food Tasting Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event; tasting item prices range from 1 to 3 tickets with some restaurants offering multiple tastings on one plate with corresponding tickets requested.
