The Beachcomber Café Celebrates National Eggs Benedict Day with a Seasoned Menu on April 16th

Eggs Benedict has made its way as a staple on most brunch menus today. With the addition of some fancy seafood, a variety of sauces and seasonal produce the dish seems to keep re-inventing itself which makes it hard for a diner to ever get bored. In fact, eggs benedict has become such a popular menu item that there is even a national day celebrating the breakfast favorite!

The Beachcomber Café will kick off Spring by celebrating National Eggs Benedict Day on Tuesday, April 16th. The celebration will include three signature styles of The Beachcomber’s rich and savory brunch-favorite, including Traditional Benedict, Crabcake Benedict and Florentine Benedict. To commemorate this delectable occasion, Executive Chef Carlos Olivera has created two new recipes that are sure to satisfy diners’ palates: Applewood Smoked Scottish Salmon Benedict and Maine Lobster & Pacific Shrimp Cake Benedict.

“Many diners tell us that our Eggs Benedict dishes are among their favorite menu choices,” explained The Beachcomber General Manager Chris Seevers. “By celebrating National Eggs Benedict Day, The Beachcomber is paying homage to this traditional dish and also offers diners new twists on a traditional classic.”

The Beachcomber’s famous egg benedicts are made with fresh organic eggs that are poached to perfection, served over a hot and crispy English muffin and dressed in a savory hollandaise sauce. The Traditional Benedict features honey-smoked spiral ham; the Crabcake Benedict features Blue Crabcakes; the Florentine Benedict is made with fresh spinach and sautéed tomatoes; the Applewood Smoked Scottish Salmon Benedict is made with sautéed Rainbow Swiss Chard, basil, chives and red caviar and the Maine Lobster & Pacific Shrimp Cake Benedict features braised kale, yellow sweet corn, hollandaise sauce with blood orange reduction and wasabi caviar.

*These two new and exceptional selections are available for a limited time only. Price points range from $14 to $19. For more information, please visit The Beachcomber online at or call 949-376-6900.
