Burger lovers soon won’t have to chase down their favorite food truck, The Cut has found a new home in Irvine’s Westpark Plaza, where its first brick-and-mortar location opens to the public in July 2017.

The Cut Partners Steve Kim, Charlie Burnette, and Chef Andrés Dangond spent the last three years building the brand and gaining praise from local food writers, who consider it to serve one of Orange County’s best burgers.

When The Cut launched as a food truck in 2014, its mission was to deliver simple burgers without all the gimmicks and overly complicated toppings. Chef Andrés Dangond, who has cooked all over the world including several Michelin-starred restaurants like Alinea and L2O in Chicago, created a straightforward menu of signature handcrafted burgers made with 100% all-natural, certified humane and free-range meats.

Other new menu items include Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings, Serrano Ham Croquettes, Smoked Mac & Cheese, and a couple of great desserts. A selection of local craft beers, wine and an exciting cocktail menu will also be available.

The Cut restaurant is open daily for Lunch and Dinner (Weekend Brunch to debut late-Summer 2017). It is located in Irvine’s Westpark Plaza (3831-C Alton Parkway in Irvine, near Big 5 Sporting Goods). For more information, please visit https://www.thecuthcb.com.
