The First Annual Pacific Wine & Food Classic Dubuts at The Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort This Weekend

The First Annual Pacific Wine & Food Classic (August 19 & 20, 2017) is positioned to become a signature Southern California culinary event. This two-day celebration brings together more than 50 prominent chefs, premium spirits and 100 wines and distinguished winemakers to Orange County for a first-class epicurean experience. The Pacific Wine & Food Classic guests will enjoy the picturesque atmosphere surrounded by spirited jazzy music and soft ocean breezes at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort.

 

Guests will delight in a series of summer inspired dishes from the region's most talented chefs, wines from the best winemakers and hand crafted cocktails. In addition, there will be live culinary entertainment by local celebrity chefs on the Fisher & Paykel / DCS Culinary Stage hosted by Food Network Star, Simon Majumdar. This elevated wine and food festival invites culinary enthusiasts and wine lovers to experience over 100 stations with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. The event has a limited number of tickets to ensure a premium experience.

Join Food Network’s, Simon Majumdar and The Fork Reporter, Neil Saavedra for an After-Party!

 

After the Pacific Wine & Food Classic is over on Saturday guests are invited to enjoy a summer cocktail party at the Hook & Spear Lounge at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa. The cocktail party begins at 6:30 and is followed by a special prix fixe dinner by Chef Andy Arndt.

Reservations for the cocktail party are not necessary, but space is limited. Dinner Reservations are required by calling 949-729-6900.

Charity: The success of this great event depends on our wonderful culinary community. Net proceeds will be given to Golden Rule charity as the beneficiary of the Pacific Wine and Food Classic in order to give back to the restaurant industry that works so hard.  Golden Rule is a local charity founded to give back and support those in need IN the restaurant industry. Golden Rule Charity administers grants and acts as a liaison between the community and those faced with an unanticipated crisis. Big or small.
