Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa, honors all moms with a scenic Champagne Mother’s Day brunch at Current & Tides restaurant on Sunday, May 13 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Executive Chef Michael Poompan dishes out a festive all-inclusive brunch inspired by Cali-Baja flavors that features a selection of traditional brunch favorites as well as unique seafood dishes.
Menu highlights include: Caramelized Leek and Goat Cheese Quiche, Greek Yogurt Bar with fresh fruits and trimmings, Carving Station featuring Chipotle Agave Marinated Smoked Tri Tip, and Salt Crusted Local Market Whole Fish. Sip champagne while enjoying an impressive Seafood Display with octopus, scallops, aguachile, shrimp coctel, local whitefish ceviche and oysters. The brunch also features a cookie decorating station for the little ones and live music from jazz performer David De Alva.
