TIKI BRUNCH — On the vanguard of the Tiki trend, The Cellar will offer Sunday brunch on August 25 with three seatings at 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m. Featuring French Polynesian cuisine, the menu’s starters are tuna poke, spam masubi and tropical salad. Entrées include a 10 oz. strip loin served with duck egg and white rice topped with veal gravy, pork Benedict, and waffles served with guava jam, maple syrup, whipped cream and homemade butter. Among the dessert options are pineapple upside down cake, passionfruit creme brulée and a trio of house sorbets topped with fresh berries. A special Tiki-inspired cocktail menu has been curated just for this event and limited-edition Tiki mugs designed by Tiki Tony will be available for purchase.
The last release of these limited-edition keepsakes drew a line around the block and mugs sold out in less than 24 hours. There will be 100 more Barrel Mugs in time for the Sunday brunch and once these are gone, they are gone. The mugs were custom designed especially for The Cellar and are only available at the restaurant. Brunch cost is $40 per person and the mugs are priced at $50. Space is limited, call (714) 525-5682 for reservations.
