Great Food, Great Guys: 12th Annual Dux in Tux

Posted on November 23, 2011 at 11:20am 0 Comments

Hockey players are the nicest, most down-to-earth athletes in all of professional sports.  There is really no way to argue this.  It's just fact.  From the fourth-line forward trying to stay on with the big club to the Hall of Fame-bound superstar, everyone who laces up a pair of skates and zips down a sheet of ice is approachable, inviting, and a bit humble.

This fantastic, refreshing attitude was on full display last Friday, as the NHL's Anaheim Ducks joined forces with…

Posted on November 8, 2011 at 10:44am 0 Comments

Ah, the holidays.  The perfect time to gather with family, catch up with friends, and to celebrate all that is good in life.  It is also one of the best times of the year to revel in sensory indulgence.  The smell of Christmas pine, the feel of a comfy wool sweater, and the dulcet tones of classic Christmas music all conspire to spread a generous dose of visceral magic onto our lives.

Duck Season! Honda Center Unveils New Food Options

Posted on October 3, 2011 at 9:51am 0 Comments

Ah, October.  The leaves turn colorful and crunchy, pristine backyards transform into sinister parcels of Halloween doom, and warmer clothing emerges from the backs of closets.  In Orange County, it also means the start of another glorious season of Anaheim Ducks hockey, as the team kicks off yet another campaign this week.  This year, things look promising for the squad -- they are led by the lethal trio of Bobby Ryan, Ryan Getzlaf, and reigning league MVP Corey Perry, team legend Teemu…

He Shoots, He Scores: Newcomer Cagliano wins the 3rd Annual Get Your Ducks on a Roll Event

Posted on September 18, 2011 at 1:39pm 0 Comments

Every September, the tell tale signs of another Anaheim Duck hockey season starts to trickle into our consciousness.  Training camp opens at Anaheim Ice.  A few pre-season games occupy the Honda Center the last half of the month.  And, of course, selected Ducks players make their own sushi for the masses.

For the third year in a row, the Anaheim Ducks teamed up with the good people at RA Sushi at the District in Tustin to present the 3rd annual Get Your Ducks on a Roll sushi…
