No cooking all week..really!

Kids Restaurant Week starts Sunday. This is a fabulous event designed to spend time together as a family and dining out. The menus and the prices are AMAZING! Choose from kids eats free all week or fantastic family bundles. With prices like this it has to be cheaper than grocery shopping..right? Well that’s our story and we're sticking to it.

Don't forget about the FREE launch event at the District in Tustin going on tomorrow from noon - 4pm. Lots of fun things for the whole family. Give-aways, bounce houses, food samples, face painting, balloons and more! Visit www.KidsRestaurantWeek.org for all the fun details!

Also a great way to give the kids a break from the Blue Box Macaroni and frozen pizza that aredinner standards in SOME (not all!) homes ...

Talk about a fun week! Count me in for the:

facepainting (I see chicken fingers on one cheek and a cheeseburger on the other!)

music (pleaseeee a cover of "Vegetables" by the beach boys!)

food samples... no explanation required! Yum!

Should I feel bad that the only kickoff I care about is the one involving food? (thats why we watch the superbowl right?)

Maybe a good question might be: whichOC restaurants don'thave kids restaurant week? ? ? Somehow, I don't think that's the winning answer. . . .I know, bah humbug to me. Maybe I'll come up with a more "winning" attitude after I accomplish a few more tasks today.
