Every year to kick off the Fall season, Island Hotel offers new autumnal events and culinary experiences. Beginning in September, giant tomahawk steaks set the stage for Monday Night Football at Oak Grill with an expertly crafted wine dinner featuring Far Niente Winery just weeks after. Aqua Lounge is preparing for its annual Halloween party with a discotheque throwback to Studio 54. In addition, two new pumpkin-themed spa treatments are being featured at The Spa.

When it comes to the best spots to watch football, Oak Grill definitely makes the cut. Touch down on Mondays is from 7 to 10 p.m. for fans to watch the action unfold on the massive flat-panel TV, while they order up an impressive 40 oz. Tomahawk steak for two that’s grilled to perfection and accompanied by mouthwatering parmesan truffle fries – available at the bar or in the restaurant.

A special dinner featuring all the flavors of autumn will be Oak Grill’s Fall Wine Dinner with Far Niente Winery. A five-course dinner highlighting new and seasonal dishes will be expertly paired with exquisite wines, including the exquisite 17-year-old Far Niente Cabernet 1999. The festivities begin with a social mixer featuring complimentary appetizers.

The forecast calls for a disco inferno this Halloween when the clock is turned back turning up the heat at Aqua Lounge. Guests should dust off their best pair of bell-bottoms, and catch the soul train down to this event. There will be party favors and big prizes for the winners of the Halloween Costume Contest.
