For the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival's 10-year anniversary, the food and wine festival adds several new events to the roster. Among them is The San Diego Classics: Fish Tacos & Craft Beers event, which takes place on November 19, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Liberty Station. This year's SWISH: Serious Sips & Urban Eats takes place at the San Diego Public Market the following evening, featuring San Diego's best burgers and libations provided by Simply Naked Wines and Svedka Vodka, said Michelle Metter, co-producer of the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival.
"Amazing culinary experiences don't have to come with a high price tag," said Metter. "The launch of these new events puts craft beer, wine and spirits, and some seriously good food together with progressive chefs doing what they do best together under one roof. These two events are delicious, fun, and at prices all foodies can appreciate."
Fish Tacos & Craft Beers
In addition to sampling fish tacos and craft beers, The San Diego Classics: Fish Tacos & Craft Beers event features the Fish Taco TKO Competition that pits the top fish taco makers against each other in a mouthwatering battle for the title of San Diego's favorite. Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens will provide unique craft beers on draft while attendees weight in on the chefs' fish taco creations. Advance tickets to The San Diego Classics: Fish Tacos & Craft Beers are on sale for $45 when purchased before November 8.
SWISH: Serious Sips & Urban Eats
Similarly, the restaurants and chefs of SWISH: Serious Sips & Urban Eats - Burger Bash Edition Presented by SVEDKA Vodka, Simply Naked Wines, and Dining Out Magazine will compete for the chance to be crowned Best Burger in San Diego. Among those cooking at the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival's official kick-off party will be winner of Bravo TV's "Top Chef All- Stars" Richard Blais, Sharone Hakman from "MasterChef" Season 1, Stacked: Food Well Built, and many more. Tickets to this exclusive party of the wine and food festival can be purchased for $45 or $65 for VIP early entry at 6:00 pm when purchased before November 8.
