South Coast Plaza's restaurants and shops are getting ready for Thanksgiving. Those not open on Thanksgiving have tempting seasonal offerings all month long, and specialty food boutiques are featuring autumn-themed baked goods and sweets.
The Capital Grille

The Capital Grille will offer a traditional Thanksgiving dinner of slow-roasted turkey with brioche stuffing; French green beans with Marcona almonds and cranberry pear chutney; and Sam’s mashed potatoes for the table to share. For dessert, rich pumpkin cheesecake will be available for $12. The Capital Grille’s full à la carte dinner menu will also be offered all day.

Let Pacific Whey Café do the work this year by ordering one of its complete to-go Thanksgiving dinners. Each feast features turkey, gravy, herbed stuffing, mashed and sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, honey wheat dinner rolls and pumpkin pie for dessert. Lawry’s offers a selection of hand-carved roasted turkey sandwiches and entrées for in-restaurant dining or to-go. The “Thankful Turkey Platter’ features roasted turkey, choice of one signature side, cranberry stuffing, yams, gravy and cranberry relish for $18. Larger family feasts featuring Lawry’s premium meats seasoned, roasted and ready to carve are also available by special order during the holidays. Selections include roast turkey with cranberry relish, prime rib with port wine au jus and roast beef with roasted red onions. Meals include two sides and choice of salad. For those who enjoy something extra, turkey soup and bread pudding can be added to any order. Please call for details. Lawry’s will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Boudin/SF has several seasonal items on the menu including the new Rustic Stuffing Turkey Cranberry Sandwich and new Turkey Cranberry Melt; both served on rustic stuffing bread. Or enjoy warm butternut squash soup with toasted walnut and dried cranberries served in a sourdough bread bowl. Shortbread pumpkin and turkey cookies are also available for a sweet treat or pick up a Boudin’s classic sourdough bread pull-apart turkey or sourdough bread grape cluster for your Thanksgiving feast. Pre-ordering is recommended.
Kick off the season with a special menu of Thanksgiving-inspired dishes including Ruby’s Thanksgiving Turkey Burger loaded with stuffing and cranberry sauce; Turkey Arrabiata Ciabatta made with a ground turkey and turkey sausage hand-formed patty; or curb a sweet craving with a Pumpkin Shake topped with whipped cream and candy corn. Fluffy Pumpkin Hot Cakes and Pumpkin Waffles are available during breakfast hours. Seasonal menu items are available now through November 25th (breakfast until November 30th).
Champagne French Bakery Cafe
Champagne French Bakery Cafe has Thanksgiving dessert covered! Delicious home-style French apple, harvest pumpkin and cherry berry pies are available whole ($18.99) or by the slice ($4.99). Pre-ordering is encouraged. Other seasonal treats include soft pumpkin cookies and hot or iced pumpkin caramel latte.
