Proving that good food and wine never go out of style or demand, the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s ever- popular Vintage Bouquet celebrates its 25th anniversary with a very special “edition” of the al fresco food and wine tasting event on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from noon to 4 pm, at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. Unlimited tastings of exceptional wines and mouth-watering dishes from some of the most renowned restaurants in the area, paired with live and silent auctions and exceptional musical entertainment, are the cornerstone of this signature event described as “enticing” (CBS) “fabulous” (Glass of Win), “serious fun” (Westside Today), and “not to be missed” (Lux Life). Proceeds benefit the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation’s Pro Bono Legal Services Programs including free Wills for Fire Fighters and Emergency Responders, preparing meals once a month for the homeless at Samoshel, free legal monthly legal clinics, free programs for victims of domestic violence and free programs to elementary students about tolerance and to high school students about the law.
“We are pulling out all the stops for the Vintage Bouquet’s 25th Anniversary thanks to the generosity of the restaurants and wineries that partner with the BHBA,” says Leigh Leshner, Barristers Past President and event chair for the ninth year. “There will be innovative dishes prepared with fresh locally-sourced food, award- winning wines, the opportunity to meet top chefs and winemakers and much more. We have expanded the ever popular V.I.P. Martini Bar to include a variety of specialty cocktails and fabulous tastings.”
Featured restaurants providing sweet and savory tastings are Bistrot Bagatelle, Brix Chocolate, Cookie Casa Bakery, Crustacean Beverly Hills, Dandy Don's HomeMade Ice Cream, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Il Fornaio- Beverly Hills, Lawry's The Prime Rib, Lazy Ox Canteen, Lexington Social House, Livello @ L'Ermitage, Momed, Napa Valley Grille, Palomino Restaurant, Ruth's Chris Steak House, STK, The Palm Restaurant and Wood & Vine.
