The 2016 Golden Chef Series is something not to be missed. Now in it's fifth year celebrating great food and drink by great people, the season of gold has arrived. Food lovers from all over Orange County are invited to come watch great chefs in action. This year’s Golden Chef Series presented by Fisher & Paykel and DCS will offer four chef demos and feature eight chefs at the Irvine Spectrum. The series will take place near the Big Wheel. Chefs will be cooking on world class kitchens by Fisher & Paykel and DCS. This years series features Irvine Spectrum chefs and eateries demonstrating how to prepare their signature dishes.
This event is FREE.
For guests that want a VIP seat to watch the experience the cost is $25 per person with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Golden Rule Charity
. There are four demonstrations scheduled, two in May and two in June, the schedule is listed below. There will be TV screens and high top tables for all guests to enjoy the demos.
May 7th feature Chef Sarah Daniels from Del Firsco's Grille
Chef Sarah will showcase sliced porcini steak with twice stuffed jalapeño bacon mashed potatoes and bourbon peppercorn sauce. She will also, showcase her signature jumbo lump crab cake with Cajun lobster sauce.
May 7th will also feature Chef Anthony Endy from Paul Martin's
Chef Anthony will showcase fish tacos, grilled fresh wild Mahi, roasted summer corn salsa, arugula, chili aioli, house made tortillas and chimichurri chicken made from free range chicken breast, wild mushroom farro, cipolline onion and savoy spinach.
The Golden Chef Series will be hosted by Wing Lam, TV personality and co-founder of Wahoo’s Fish Taco’s, along with co-host Charlie Plummer.
